DUTIES Your duties as the Business Development Manager will include: New Business Development: Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and cold calling Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers Sales Consultations: Conduct client meetings, site visits and security consultations to understand operational and security requirements Proposals and Quotations: Prepare and deliver professional proposals and quotations for tailored security solutions Sales Pipeline: Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract award Targets and Performance: Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives Reporting: Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and accurately report on sales activity Industry Representation: Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking opportunities Product Promotion: Promote electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control and intruder alarm solutions CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales Executive or Account Management role within the security industry or a closely related sector Strong knowledge of electronic security systems, particularly CCTV, access control and intruder alarms Demonstrable success in winning new business and achieving sales targets Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Self-motivated with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach Full UK Driving Licence DESIRABLE Existing industry contacts and relationships Experience presenting technical security solutions to commercial clients Knowledge of security system design and specification BENEFITS Company Vehicle Fuel Card Mobile Phone Laptop 20 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays Excellent Commission Structure Career Development Opportunities HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
