Senior MEP Revit Technician Location: Bristol Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working Pattern: Hybrid The Company A globally recognised Building Services Consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior MEP Revit Technician to join its Bristol office. The Role As a Senior MEP Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of high-quality BIM models and technical drawings across a wide variety of building services projects. Working closely with Engineers, BIM Managers and other design professionals, you'll be responsible for delivering coordinated Revit models throughout the design process while contributing to the continual development of digital engineering standards and BIM workflows. The role will include: Producing and coordinating MEP Revit models and technical drawings across RIBA Stages 2-4 Developing coordinated BIM models in line with company BIM standards and templates Managing Revit models from initial setup through to project completion Producing drawing sheets, views and model documentation Incorporating asset information including COBie, IFC and Uniclass data where required Reviewing models produced by engineers and carrying out clash detection Producing coordination reports and assisting with design reviews Working collaboratively with Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineers Supporting BIM execution plans and digital delivery processes Contributing ideas towards BIM automation and digital engineering improvements Ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and within programme Requirements The successful Senior MEP Revit Technician will ideally have: Experience within a Building Services Consultancy or MEP Contractor Strong experience using Autodesk Revit for MEP projects Good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health building services HNC or equivalent qualification within Building Services or a related discipline (preferred) Experience producing coordinated BIM models and technical drawings Good understanding of BIM workflows and model coordination Experience using AutoCAD Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Desirable experience includes: Autodesk Construction Cloud Navisworks clash detection COBie, IFC and Uniclass data management ISO 19650 Knowledge of the RIBA Plan of Work and BSRIA BG6 Experience contributing towards BIM standards or digital engineering initiatives What's on Offer Competitive salary Hybrid working Opportunity to work on prestigious UK and international projects Structured career progression Ongoing BIM and digital engineering training Supportive multidisciplinary team Exposure to industry-leading digital engineering technologies Professional development opportunities Collaborative and inclusive working environment Why Apply? Senior BIM Technician c. London £70 - £75,000 BenchIT now seek the support of a highly-skilled, senior BIM technician to support the CAD, design and project teams across BIM design activity. This role requires solid experience in MEP project environments and ideally knowledge of IT infrastructure within data centre and enterprise environments. You will create, modify and coordinate 3D models using BIM software including Revit and Navisworks - working from 2D drawings and working closely with other trade services, delivering highly accurate & coordinated models. Key responsibilities: Create and modify 3D models using BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks. Model components from 2D drawings, producing coordinated models, aligning closely with other trade services. Populate models with all essential annotation data, ensuring components are correctly tagged. Use Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes between disciplines. Understand and work in line with BIM Execution Plans. Attend coordination meetings and raise any issues or concerns with the project team. Produce 2D drawings on relevant sheets for use in AutoCAD. Key skills: Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD. Experience working within a construction environment and collaborating with stakeholders and other professional trades.
