Senior Business Consultant - Change Management SAP S/4HANA £70,000-£90,000 + 10% bonus North West or South West Hybrid You've delivered major SAP transformations. You understand how difficult real organisational change can be. Now you want an opportunity where you can have a bigger influence - on the programme, the customer, the people around you and the wider consulting relationship. We're looking for a Senior Business Consultant specialising in Change Management to join one of the UK's major technology and consulting organisations, taking a leading role on a significant SAP S/4HANA transformation programme within complex manufacturing. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on transformation delivery with senior-level consulting responsibility . More than just a Change Manager role You'll become a trusted partner to the customer, working across an environment that stretches from the manufacturing shop floor through to executive leadership . You'll help shape and lead the change approach, challenge thinking, manage senior stakeholders and ensure transformation is actually being embedded into the organisation - not simply delivered according to a project plan. You'll still be close to implementation, but at this level you'll also have a broader view of the programme. That means overseeing delivery, managing risks, supporting reporting and governance, developing junior consultants and helping ensure the programme delivers value for both the customer and the consulting organisation. You'll also work with third-party technology and supply-chain partners, helping coordinate complex delivery and keeping stakeholders aligned. The person we're looking for You'll already have significant experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation and Change Management within manufacturing or industrial environments . A background in aerospace, automotive, OEM or other complex manufacturing environments would translate particularly well. Most importantly, we want evidence of what you have personally delivered . You should be comfortable talking through major SAP implementations you've owned, how you approached organisational change, how you handled resistance, what happened when delivery went off-track and what you personally did to solve the problem. At this level, you should also be credible with senior and executive stakeholders while still being comfortable engaging operational teams on the shop floor. Consulting, leadership and commercial exposure This role also gives you the opportunity to step beyond pure Change Management. You'll support and develop other consultants, take greater ownership of programme delivery and build an understanding of the commercial side of consulting. That doesn't mean carrying a sales target. Instead, we're looking for someone commercially aware enough to understand customer value, delivery costs, billability and margins , while recognising opportunities where the organisation could provide additional support to the customer. Experience supporting presales, bids or proposals would be useful, but you don't need to be a salesperson or bid writer. Likewise, formal line-management experience isn't essential. If you've led workstreams, mentored consultants or helped develop more junior colleagues, we'd be interested in hearing about it. A few important requirements This is not a remote consulting position. You must be able to commit to at least 2 days per week on-site in either the North West or South West of the UK . Being physically present matters because successful change in manufacturing requires genuine engagement with the people and operations affected by it. Due to the customer-specific security requirements associated with the programme, candidates must also be a sole British citizen . Dual nationality / dual passports cannot be accepted for this particular position. You'll require SC clearance to start and must meet the customer's requirements for future DV clearance. What's on offer? The salary is £70,000-£90,000 plus a 10% consulting bonus , alongside a wider benefits package. Beyond the package, this is an opportunity to join a major consulting organisation where you can build your career beyond individual change projects - developing your leadership, commercial and consulting experience while delivering complex transformation for major UK organisations. If you combine SAP S/4HANA expertise, manufacturing experience and senior Change Management capability, this could be a very interesting next move.
