Key tasks: Assist in maintaining a quality culture and support staff to carry out their tasks competently and within the site quality framework. Take part in HACCP review meetings and complete quarterly CCP verification audits. Perform internal audits and assist in completing independent systems audits according to the agreed schedule. Coordinate laboratory testing for sampling products and review and analyse results to identify non-conformances. Support the wider operations teams with the adherence to, and maintenance of best practice standards in line with company, customer and BRC standards. Manage the hygiene staff and site hygiene protocols. Manage supplier approval records and customer complaints. Participate in completing product specifications both internally and Gold standard specifications. About You Quality assurance or technical experience in a food manufacturing/food production environment Ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology, or another related subject. BRC/ISO internal auditing experience. Level 2 Food Hygiene and HACCP qualifications are preferred. A self-starter with an analytical and methodical approach to work. A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word. The site is based in North Kent and is commutable from areas of both London and Essex.
