Job Title: Executive Assistant & Business Support Location: Hull Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum Make an impact at the heart of a successful professional services business Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established and respected professional services organisation to recruit an Executive Assistant & Business Support professional. This newly created position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, providing trusted support while helping the wider business stay organised, connected and effective. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing competing priorities and being a dependable point of support. You will combine executive assistance with wider business coordination, working across administration, communications, recruitment, events and external supplier relationships. The Opportunity: As an Executive Assistant & Business Support professional, you ll play a key role in: Providing proactive and confidential support to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, including selected strategic matters. Preparing high-quality reports, presentations, meeting papers and action trackers. Coordinating projects, business administration, audio typing, document production and secretarial cover. Supporting internal communications and business planning, helping information and actions move effectively across the organisation. Coordinating external marketing, PR, website and design suppliers, alongside client and staff events, recruitment, onboarding, AML and GDPR administration. Your work will directly contribute to stronger organisation, greater leadership capacity and effective day-to-day business operations. About You: We re looking for someone who can bring: Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, PA or in a senior business support position. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and coordinate varied activities. Clear and confident communication skills, together with a professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information. Strong Microsoft 365 skills and previous audio typing experience. A proactive, dependable approach and the confidence to take ownership of tasks while working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners. Experience within professional services would be beneficial, although it is not essential. The Benefits and Package: In return, you ll enjoy: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum. 37.5 hours per week. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. A Hull-based position with occasional travel to York.
