Senior ServiceNow AI Strategy & Automation Consultant UK Wide Hybrid Permanent Up to the high 80,000s + 10% bonus and benefits AI comes up in nearly every client conversation now. In reality, most businesses are not short of tools. What they need is someone who can help them decide what each tool is actually for, where it will add value and how it should fit into the wider organisation. I'm working with a leading transformation consultancy that is growing its ServiceNow AI capability. They need a senior consultant who understands the platform and can help clients answer questions such as, "We already have Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow, so where should we use each one?" What You'll Be Doing You'll work with senior stakeholders to develop practical AI and automation strategies with ServiceNow at the centre. You'll help them identify useful opportunities, decide which ones are worth pursuing and turn those ideas into roadmaps and business cases. The role covers AI capabilities across the ServiceNow platform rather than one specific product. Depending on your background, you could be advising on Now Assist, Virtual Agent, AI Control Tower, agentic workflows, enterprise search or Moveworks. A big part of the job will be helping clients understand where ServiceNow AI fits alongside tools such as Microsoft Copilot. You'll look at the business problem, existing systems and available data before recommending which capability makes the most sense. You'll also advise on the less glamorous but important parts of AI adoption, including governance, risk, data, integrations and responsible use. The wider consultancy has teams that can support detailed implementation, so this role is mainly focused on strategy, advisory work and shaping the overall direction. You'll also get involved in proposals, presentations and early client conversations as the consultancy continues to develop its ServiceNow AI offering. What They're Looking For You'll need a strong understanding of ServiceNow at platform level rather than experience with just one module. The manager is flexible on the exact AI tools you have used, but you should ideally have meaningful exposure to at least two areas such as Now Assist, Virtual Agent, AI Control Tower, agentic workflows, enterprise search or Moveworks. Nobody is expecting you to have years of experience across every new ServiceNow AI product. Many of them have not been around long enough for that. A solid ServiceNow background combined with experience in enterprise AI, intelligent automation, conversational AI or AI governance could be equally relevant. This is not a generic AI position, though. You need to understand how AI works within enterprise products and workflows, and you should be able to explain where ServiceNow offers value compared with other tools. Some knowledge of platform architecture, data and integrations will help, but you are not expected to be a developer or AI engineer. You'll be comfortable leading senior client conversations, explaining technical subjects in plain English and linking AI investment to actual business outcomes. Experience developing strategies, roadmaps, business cases or operating models will be important. Any involvement in proposals, RFPs or client development would also be useful. Why It's Worth Looking At This is a good opportunity to move into a more strategic ServiceNow position and work on the questions clients are asking right now. You'll get exposure to several emerging areas of the platform without being boxed into one product or expected to know everything from day one. You'll also have a genuine say in how the consultancy develops its ServiceNow AI offering, rather than simply joining an established delivery team and following an existing approach. You can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel to one of the consultancy's UK offices will usually be around once a month, with client travel required at key project milestones. If your background combines strong ServiceNow knowledge with AI, automation or governance experience, I'd be interested in speaking with you. Senior ServiceNow Customer Workflow Consultant UK Wide Hybrid Permanent Up to the high 80,000s + 10% bonus and benefits ServiceNow is making a bigger push into CRM, but there still are not many people who have spent years working across its newer customer products. The hiring manager knows that, so this is less about matching every module and more about finding someone who understands ServiceNow, CRM and how good customer operations should work. I'm working with a large transformation consultancy that wants to build its capability in this area ahead of expected client demand. They need a senior consultant who can sit with a client, understand how their customer services currently operate and help them work out what the future should look like. What You'll Be Doing You'll lead discovery sessions with customer operations, service and technology teams. You'll look at existing customer journeys, processes and systems, identify where services are falling short and turn that into a sensible transformation roadmap and business case. The work could involve customer case management, contact centre processes, field operations, self-service and workflow automation. You'll help shape solutions using either ServiceNow CSM or FSM, depending on the client and your own background. You may also be asked to help clients understand where ServiceNow fits alongside established CRM platforms such as Salesforce. This is not a hands-on development role. The wider consultancy has delivery teams that can handle the detailed implementation. Your job is to make sure the right problem is being solved, the proposed approach makes sense and the client understands the value they should get from it. You'll also support proposals, presentations and early conversations with prospective clients as the consultancy builds its customer workflow offering. What They're Looking For You'll probably come from a ServiceNow consulting, CRM transformation, business architecture or customer operations background. You need a good understanding of the ServiceNow platform and ideally experience with CSM or FSM. You do not need both. They are more interested in whether you understand CRM properly. You should be comfortable discussing customer journeys, case management, service operating models and the role technology can play in improving the experience for both customers and service teams. Candidates with a strong Salesforce or wider CRM background will also be considered, but you will still need enough ServiceNow knowledge to speak confidently about the platform and how its workflows could support customer operations. You'll need to be comfortable leading workshops, advising senior stakeholders and turning broad business problems into clear recommendations. Experience developing roadmaps, business cases or client proposals would be useful. ServiceNow certifications would be a bonus, but they are not the main thing the manager will judge you on. Why It's Worth Looking At This is a chance to get involved in an area of ServiceNow that is still taking shape. You will not be stepping into a rigid role or simply repeating the same type of implementation. You'll help decide how the consultancy approaches the market and what its customer workflow offering should look like. It should suit someone who enjoys ServiceNow but wants to spend less time on configuration and more time working with senior clients, shaping programmes and solving business problems. You can be based anywhere in the UK. Travel to one of the consultancy's UK offices will usually be around once a month, with client travel required at key project milestones. If your current title is different but your background covers ServiceNow, CRM and customer transformation, I'd still be keen to speak with you.
