Receptionist / Administrator - Adult Social Care (Learning Disabilities) Location: West London Pay Rate: £21.52 PAYE £27.35 Umbrella Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 4:30pm Contract: Ongoing Temporary (Long-Term Opportunity) We are urgently recruiting for a Receptionist / Administrator (Business Support Officer) to join a newly developed Education, Health & Wellbeing Hub supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs with a local authority This is a key front-facing role within a busy centre, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a professional, compassionate approach to working with vulnerable adults, families, and professionals. This is an ongoing position with long-term potential . The Role You will act as the first point of contact for the centre, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and efficient reception and administrative service. Responsibilities include: Managing the front desk, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries Coordinating and updating transport arrangements for residents Maintaining accurate records, registers, and usage data Supporting communication with families, carers, and external professionals Monitoring health & safety logs, reporting repairs, and conducting daily checks Managing post, supplies, and general office organisation Supporting events, meetings, and centre communications About You We are looking for a proactive and organised individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment: Previous experience as a Receptionist, Administrator, or Front Office professional Strong customer service skills with a professional and empathetic manner Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Confident using Microsoft Office and office systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working within a social care or public sector setting A genuine interest in supporting adults with additional needs is highly desirable. Requirements Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months (essential) Willingness to work occasional weekends on a rota basis (with days off in lieu) Why Apply?
