Based from our office at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup you will be providing administration support for our repairs and maintenance service on one of our healthcare contracts. This position will predominantly be based in the office. There is the potential for up to one day per week working from home following initial induction and training period. Rydon has established a strong reputation for the quality within our maintenance division with a particular focus on NHS Hard Facilities Management - consisting of responsive repairs as well as planned/preventative maintenance. As a Production Planning & Purchasing Administrator, you will benefit from: Genuine autonomy in managing your own workload and priorities Exposure to senior stakeholders across Purchasing and Logistics Structured processes and clear expectations, so you always know where you stand Supportive management and a well-established Operations function As a Production Planning & Purchasing Administrator, your responsibilities will include: Receive, process and maintain customer and supplier schedules and orders on the MRP system Generate and issue production works orders in line with customer requirements and delivery deadlines Liaise with customers and suppliers via email, phone and online portals to manage order status Support the Purchasing Manager with purchase order expediting, generation and supplier surveys Monitor and report on overdue purchase orders and supplier delivery schedule adherence Maintain accurate filing and logistics query portal records As a Production Planning & Purchasing Administrator, your experience will include: Experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment, ideally in production planning or purchasing Confident working with MRP systems and EDI order processing Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers via phone, email and online portals Experience supporting purchase order expediting or wider procurement processes an advantage If you're someone who takes pride in getting the detail right first time, this Production Planning & Purchasing Administrator role is one where that will be genuinely valued.
