Junior Technology Consultant - circa 30,000 per annum base + benefits (incl. annual bonus) - London (hybrid) We are recruiting on behalf of a small finance technology company (consulting), who are looking for a Junior Technology Consultant to join their team. You will be part of the small IT team which is responsible for the maintenance, support, development and enhancement of both internal infrastructures, but also client-facing solutions. This will include areas such as: Microsoft Azure Cloud computing and infrastructure, including: Virtual Machine setup, capacity management and maintenance; Data lakes and data integration; Performance monitoring and optimisation for very large datasets Windows Server platform and associated technologies, including performing patching & upgrades to Windows and SQL Server Networking and Site-to-Site VPNs Windows laptop builds SQL Server DBA activities, alongside development & coding including PowerShell and service automation Development and testing of our software (in house built) Development and testing of our Power BI and Python-based analytics solutions Key skills and experience: Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an IT, Engineering, Science or Mathematics You have a customer-oriented mentality, wanting to readily engage with the consulting and client teams to better understand their needs and functional outcomes You can cope with conflicting and changing priorities and have strong and proactive communication skills Desired Skills: Coding skills and data analytics knowledge - SQL would be ideal Computing terminology This is a real opportunity to join the company at the start of its journey with the obvious implications for growth, development and learning new technologies.
