Over one-third of the team are Technicians who perform quality control tests on receipt of the fuel at the airport and in the tank farms each day prior to release into the hydrant systems. They also conduct routine tests at various times across the 650 refuelling points around the Airport and supports Heathrow Airport and the airlines. Starting salary 48,000 + annual bonus overtime Private Healthcare 8% Pension Working hours: Full time, 40 hours a week. A shift role of 4 on 4 off covering a 24/7 operation as part of a 12-person team. The shifts are broken down into 3 blocks: an early shift from 05:00 to 17:00, a late shift 12:00 to 00:00 and a night shift 21:15 to 5:30 giving 24-7 airport cover. Overtime and shift cover may also be required from time to time. This will be paid as overtime position. The role: Perform Jet A-1 product quality testing and minor maintenance & inspection activities that ensure fit for purpose on specification is delivered into the process plant, the hydrant system and ultimately to the aircraft. Contribute to a positive health, safety, security and the environment (HSSE) culture and performance, with the aim of there being no HSSE incidents or accidents: Follow the site safety rules.
