This involves managing daily office logistics and owning core HR functions including onboarding, contract management, and assisting with performance reviews; to ensure a seamless, professional operation Project Velocity (20%): You will partner with our development team. Finance & Operations Manager 50,000- 60,000 DOE + Bonus Renewable Energy Developer Hoxton, East London Office-Based An established and growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to take ownership of its finance function during an important post-investment growth phase. Operating across multiple project entities, the business has recently secured external investment and is strengthening its internal finance capability to support increased governance, investor reporting and long-term asset development. This role offers genuine responsibility, visibility and influence within a lean, entrepreneurial environment. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and working close to decision-makers rather than within a large corporate structure. The Role As Finance & Operations Manager, you will act as the senior internal finance lead, responsible for the day-to-day and strategic financial management of the business and its project SPVs. You are likely to have: At least 3-5 years' UK-based financial controlling or finance management experience Experience working in SME, project-based or investor-backed environments Hands-on experience managing finance across multiple legal entities or SPVs Strong technical grounding in management accounts, forecasting, cashflow and statutory compliance Confidence dealing directly with senior stakeholders, investors and external advisers A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work with limited support infrastructure You may be ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with a demonstrable track record of owning and improving finance functions in growing businesses.
