As the Resources and Recycling Contracts Manager, you will be an integral part of the team managing the council's waste disposal and waste collection and street cleansing services contracts. You will ensure that the Resources and Recycling officers understand the contract and use the contract correctly. You will be the principal point of contact for both the waste disposal and waste collection and street cleansing contracts and take relevant actions to ensure the highest standards of service delivery performance management and customer satisfaction are maintained in accordance with the required legislative guidelines and best practice. You will ensure that the Council complies with its statutory duties as a Waste Disposal Authority and Waste Collection Authority, enabling value for money and efficiencies. You will manage 5 officers in the team and work closely with our contractor, Suez as well as a range of other councils services to drive long-term and sustainable resources and recycling management across the city. In addition, you will provide strategic updates to the Head of Housing Assets and contribute to Cabinet and Committee reporting.
