The nursery run several extra-curricular activities including Cooking school, Boogie Mites, Yoga, Toothbrushing, Football fun and much more. About the Nursery Trainee Manager Role Do you have Early Years Leadership experience and looking for a fresh new challenge? As a Nursery Trainee Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role is designed for individuals aspiring to develop management skills within a childcare setting. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager and staff to promote high standards of care and education. What does the Nursery Trainee Manager role involve? Assist in overseeing daily nursery activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to train, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare. Monitor and support the developmental progress of children, implementing appropriate educational activities and assessments. Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, addressing concerns and promoting nursery events and initiatives. Help manage administrative tasks, including attendance records, incident reports, and budgeting. Assist in the implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring adherence by staff and parents. Promote a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining equipment and facilities. Work collaboratively with the nursery team, contributing ideas to enhance the overall quality of care and education. What are we looking for? A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
