Role: Assembler Based: Morley, Leeds. LS27 Rate: 13.50p/h + holidays (33 days - 25+8BH) Term: 6-12 months - Monday-Friday 37.5hrs (early finish on Friday) Role and responsibilities Due to an increase in work our client is seeking 3 Assembler's to join the team. Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor required. The Assembler will be able to read and interpret working instructions for assembly of products. Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products, including the packing where integrated with production lines. Some requirements to use light hand tools. Regular quality testing as part of a defined production process. Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Emergency lighting unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes Qualifications for the Assembler role Experience in assembly within manufacturing environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience with PCBs and wiring would be desirable but not essential Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
