The standard hours of work are 42 hours per week, 4 on/4 off, rotating days/nights As a ganger, you will lead a team of operatives on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. To keep records, complete all necessary paperwork, communicate and liaise with other employees of Amey, sub-contractors, the emergency services, the police, the public, clients and customers. Key Responsibilities Carry out tasks set by site supervisors and gangers to the required standard. Ensure full understanding of all relevant risk assessments, method statements, and site briefings before commencing work. Operate plant, tools, and equipment safely and carry out routine pre-use checks. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times.
