KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES To ensure and achieve a target of 100% completion of PPM's issued by Maintenance Manager/Process Improvement Engineer. To communicate any issues that have prevented completion or achieving target. Take ownership of appropriate follow up to actions identified and to close off outstanding work in a timely manner. Achieve this by escalation of outstanding issues not closed, ordering spares, checking stock and planning of remedial work. Take ownership of countermeasures that have been identified, plan and implement accordingly. Asset Care: provide a prompt resolution of open actions, maintain an up-to-date Asset Care Workbook and communicate with relevant members of staff in production any ongoing issues that are to be addressed. Actively seek to identify improvement projects across site. Reduce downtime to below target level and improve machine availability. Ensure standard of organization and cleanliness is maintained in working areas and other areas of engineering responsibility. Ensure engineers undertake regular line walks to discuss any ongoing issues with production staff and also identify any ongoing issues that may not have been raised by production. i.e. unusual noises, smells, visual checks across all areas. Ensure that all relevant information is filled in on the shift handover sheet and that a suitable handover takes place between shifts, so that all relevant work activities or issues can be discussed progressed. Tool Box Audits: Take ownership and responsibility for tool box audits, any non-conformances will be your responsibility. Ensure that Engineering KPI's are always competed at the start of every shift. This must be deputised if you are not going to be on site due to a holiday or sickness.
