Provide line management to all design managers working on their projects. Challenge and change poor practice in safety, quality and engineering procedures. Maintain contacts with Consultants, Clients, and other bodies as appropriate to represent the business demonstrating ability to provide best value. Assist with the recruitment of engineers, at all levels, for their sector, including interviewing and identifying potential recruits from competitor companies. Assist with the training and development of engineers' in the sector at all levels including the attainment of professional qualifications. Specifically take ownership of the engineering competencies and embed within their sectors.
