The role involves supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs while also leading learning during PPA cover sessions and assisting in planning for KS1 lessons. Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs. Deliver PPA cover lessons confidently across KS1, following school planning and curriculum expectations. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and support staff to ensure every child can thrive academically and emotionally. Contribute to KS1 planning and adapt learning materials to suit diverse learning needs. Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Requirements: HLTA status or equivalent qualification (CACHE Level 3 or higher). 2+ years' experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting. Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum and ability to assist with planning. Experience delivering PPA cover sessions. Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
