This client-facing role requires a technically credible professional with strong business development and project management experience, capable of embedding within Tier 1 client teams, building trusted relationships, and identifying future work packages. Relevant experience may include working with organisations such as EDF, Babcock, HPC, Sizewell, AWE, AEA, MoD, NNL etc and being based remotely in the South-West of England along the M5 / M4 Corridor What We're Looking For: This role suits a technically credible professional with a strong engineering background, prior Framework Management experience within the Nuclear Sector, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven ability to identify and shape future workstreams. You'll be commercially aware, confident working within Tier 1 client environments, and able to act as Engineering Manager on complex nuclear projects. Experience in business development and project management is essential, along with the ability to build trust and deliver results in regulated environments. Key Responsibilities of Framework Manager Lead delivery across nuclear framework contracts, ensuring performance across time, cost, quality, and safety Act as Engineering Manager on large-scale ( m+) projects Embed within client teams to understand evolving needs and influence scope Build relationships that unlock future opportunities and draw out new workstreams Provide technical input into tenders and business development Chair design, peer, and risk reviews; oversee engineering estimates Mentor engineering staff and contribute to succession planning Escalate complex issues with recommended solutions to senior leadership Strategic & Commercial Focus: Translate client needs into actionable scopes and delivery plans Identify and secure future workstreams through proactive engagement Support commercial teams with technical insight during bidding and negotiation Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across the framework Essential Requirements for Framework Manager Role: Engineering degree (BEng/BSc) - postgraduate qualification (MEng/MSc/PhD) preferred Chartered Engineer status (IMechE, IET, or equivalent) strongly preferred Prior experience of Framwork Management within the Nuclear Industry, working as a Technical Authority Experience with Tier 1 Nuclear Energy Clients (or Nuclear Research / Nuclear Defence-related organisations & Frameworks) Strong understanding of nuclear safety cases and lifecycle engineering Proven business development and project management capability Must be a British National and able to gain SC clearance or already hold SC clearance Ready to Apply?
