PowerBuilder Consultant - Mostly Remote (based in UK or EU) - Contract/Permanent - Competitive Daily Rate/Salary One of the biggest PowerBuilder (IT) Consultancy in Europe with offices in UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, is looking to recruit PowerBuilder Consultants based in UK or EU. We deliver a range of services from IT Consultancy, Software Project Development and Application Support Services for our corporate clients covering Insurance, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, Logistics & Leasing, Publishing and Charity domains (including UN organizations) which are well-known names. The role is mostly remote (split between Working from Home and occasional travelling to other sites, eg Belgium). As OCS is part of an Employee Ownership Trust, after a qualifying period the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the company's future vision and share the profits. The following skills and experience are required: 3+ years recent commercial experience with PowerBuilder support and development - mandatory Excellent English, written and verbal Professional French speaking and writing is a strong advantage Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL databases (Including triggers, stored procedures and packages)- mandatory Familiarity with source control Servers - desirable Experience assessing, analysing and designing heterogeneous technical solutions leveraging existing PowerBuilder applications and systems Proven experience working in a fast-paced complex environment Flexibility and an open-minded approach to work with a 'can do' attitude Our Offer: Competitive Salary/Daily Rate, depending on experience Travel expenses For the permanent role, if based in UK: Variety of benefits (including enhanced Pension, Life insurance, Medical & Dental cover, Permanent Health Insurance, Critical Illness benefit, joining the Employee Ownership Trust after a qualifying period, Flu jabs, health and wellbeing program, employee of the month and long service awards) Generous Holiday Allowance - increases based on the length of service Supportive and collaborative working environment Variety of work Career Development - Opportunity to progress, both in terms of skills and experience for the motivated and talented individual.
