We are recruiting a skilled HGV Technician to join our well-established operation in Thrapston, offering long-term stability, flexible working hours, and strong earning potential. The Role HGV Technician As a HGV Technician, you will work in a fully equipped, professional workshop maintaining and repairing a modern mixed fleet of HGVs. This is a hands-on role with real variety, covering trucks and trailers, and an opportunity to make a real impact in a busy operation. Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician: Service, maintain, and repair HGVs, including Mercedes, Scania, and Volvo Work on a variety of trailers, including single-deck, double-deck, and flatbeds Carry out vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT preparation Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and fully compliant with safety and legal standards Working Hours for the HGV Technician: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week Flexible start and finish times: 6:00am 3:30pm 7:00am 4:30pm 8:00am 5:30pm Optional Saturday mornings (as required) Requirements HGV Technician Level 3 HGV / Vehicle Maintenance qualification preferred IRTEC accreditation preferred (training available if not currently held) Class 1 (C+E) licence advantageous but not essential Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach What s On Offer for the HGV Technician: Up to £24 per hour / £56,160 per annum Company van included Ongoing training and development for HGV Technicians Friendly, professional workshop environment Stable, long-term position with flexible working hours How to Apply If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity, please apply via this advert or contact: Sam Roberts Holt Recruitment (phone number removed) (url removed)
