Our client operates a mixed farming business with two modern dairy units located in the Devizes area of Wiltshire, approximately nine miles apart. Each unit milks around 190 cows, calving all year round, through 20/20 fully automated herringbone parlours. The All Cannings and Bromham herds are cubicle housed and semi-TMR fed. An opportunity is available for an experienced Relief Milker/General Farm Worker to cover approximately one hundred days per contract year on each unit. The role provides cover for Herd Managers during regular time off, holidays, and to allow for other management responsibilities. Work rotas are agreed in advance, giving flexibility to undertake additional work elsewhere outside the agreed farm rota if desired.
