Paul Mathew Transport Limited is currently recruiting for a Workshop Fitter / Technician for a permanent position based in Bognor Regis West Sussex. In order to be considered you will need to have experience of working as a fitter / technician in a HGV or LGV or similar vehicle maintenance position. There are some administration duties on this including job cards that will require computer input. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Bognor Regis and will require you working between 8am and 5.30pm on Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of DAF tractor units and Mega Cube Tandem Axle Box Trailers. Minor and Major repairs are carried out when possible in house however specialist repairs are carried out elsewhere. Workwear is provided. Your daily role will be to deal with defects, servicing, MOT preparation and checks. You will also keep records on work done with job cards and setting up purchase orders for parts and stock control, etc. We have depots in Farnborough and Evesham which will require fortnightly visits in a works van from Bognor Regis to service and inspect trailers.
