We are seeking a Manufacturing Composite Technician. You will be part of a small team of skilled technicians responsible for the manufacturing our small wind turbines. You will be involved in the manufacturing of a variety of blades and stators within the composites department. This will involve everything from coil winding, complex RTM and vacuum moulding, through to sanding and filling final parts. There maybe requirements to perform tasks in other areas of the business as needed including the electrical, mechanical and H1 departments. Full training will be provided. Core Responsibilities . Kitting/sorting of components ready for manufacture. Manufacturing composite parts, following and understanding the company's standard operating procedures. Trimming, sanding and finishing parts to a high standard. Safe use of hazardous substances so strong COSHH awareness is preferred. Work closely with both the Head of Operations and Manufacturing Engineer and be able to absorb instructions given. Keep the workshop clean and tidy and in a state suitable for visitors.
