We are looking for a skilled Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out cost-effective repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment. You will ensure work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health & safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on customer vehicles/equipment. Respond to breakdowns within designated time frames. Complete service sheets, job cards, and other paperwork accurately. Maintain clear communication with Workshop Office colleagues regarding job progress. Adhere to health & safety procedures, including PPE usage and hazard awareness. Keep workspaces clean and hazard-free, including company vehicles. Drive and maneuver vehicles within the workshop or airport as required (subject to appropriate training/licensing). Ensure compliance with environmental policies and correct disposal of hazardous materials. Promote a safety-first culture, reporting accidents and near-miss incidents as required. Requirements: Essential: Full UK Manual Driving Licence. Eligibility to obtain an Airside Pass. Knowledge of mechanical/engineering principles. Strong health & safety awareness. Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Desirable: Experience in the motor or airport industry. Familiarity with Ground Support Equipment (GSE), HGVs, or plant equipment. Forklift licence. Understanding of vehicle hydraulics and electrics. HGV/PSV Licence. Qualifications: Automotive Apprenticeship in Vehicle Repair or Technology.
