The Opportunity As a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will be a key part of the Building Services Engineering team, working on multidisciplinary projects providing guidance to other engineers and working alongside building physicists, sustainability consultants, energy and carbon consultants and BIM modellers. This team forms part of the wider region which includes civil, structural, fire, acoustics, specialist lighting, and other engineering disciplines. In this role you will: Play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion across a range of sectors, specifically in the Data Centre sector. Apply your engineering expertise to shape our projects, moving them towards net zero carbon. Work in an interdisciplinary environment and aim to design buildings that maximise value for our clients whilst minimising their environmental impact. Provide leadership to the MEP team on a portfolio of projects locally, nationally and internationally, having the responsibility of ensuring correct technical approaches are applied to the project and are carried out appropriately to complete the tasks at hand. Be expected to have project management skills and will have remit for the financial performance of the projects including liaising directly with clients on fees and commercial matters.
