IT Support Engineer required by a market leading client based in St Athan. This will be an onsite role (With the occasional work from home day) providing 2nd and 3rd Line support within a varied technical environment to a user based in both the UK and the US. Please note, this role is onsite 4-5 days a week so you would need to live within a commutable distance, or be willing to relocate to the area. This role is ideal for someone with strong desktop and server support experience who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting users, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT systems and services. You will act as an escalation point from 1st line, working across infrastructure, systems and applications, while also getting involved in projects and system upgrades. Key Responsibilities Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for end users, resolving escalated technical issues across hardware, software and systems. Troubleshoot and support Windows desktop and server environments. Support and administer Active Directory, including users, groups and Group Policy. Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals. Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system.
