Key responsibilities include: Carrying out servicing and repairs to the highest standards Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment Completing electronic job cards, PDI documentation, service reports, and health checks Producing high-quality vehicle health check videos Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety requirements Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet quality and productivity targets Keeping up to date with the latest vehicle technologies, including Hybrid and EV The Ideal Candidate Essential: NVQ / IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Full UK driving licence Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills A professional approach with attention to detail Enthusiastic, reliable, and quality-driven Desirable: Main dealer or manufacturer-approved workshop experience Previous manufacturer training or certifications Why Apply? About the role We have an excellent opportunity available for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team at Sytner Select Nottingham. As a Sytner Service Advisor, you will provide outstanding customer care and be the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will inform and consult on vehicle servicing, and keep the customer up to date at every stage whilst answering any questions or queries they may have. You will also liaise with technicians/workshop control about vehicle statuses and ensure that vehicles will be ready on time. You will also have the ability to give the best advice on our products and services to our customers. This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first, you'll take the time to talk to people, build a genuine rapport and identify exactly what our customers want and need. Sytner Service Advisors work a variety of flexible patterns which can typically include weekends to ensure we provide our customers with the highest possible levels of service. About you Don't worry if you do not have previous experience, we want applications from individuals with a willingness to learn and progress. Training is provided through our dedicated in-house Learning & Development team and outstanding manufacturer courses to support your career. Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail.
