Are you looking to build your experience in school? Maybe you have a teaching assistant qualification and are looking to put that in to practice? Then working as a Teaching Assistant on a supply basis is a great way to do so. We work with primary schools all across Cheshire West suppplying them with teaching assistants on both short term and long term basis. The ideal candidate would need to be free 4 to 5 days per week as most of our placements are full time or just short of that. Those who do not have a DBS on the update service must be willing pay for an enhanced one at £49.50. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and delivering educational activities. Support students with their learning and development. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe environment. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication. Skills and Qualifications: Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and parents. Patience: Essential for working with young children who may need extra time and support. Creativity: Ability to create engaging and educational activities. Organizational Skills: Keeping track of materials, schedules, and student progress. Empathy: Understanding and addressing the emotional and educational needs of students. Teamwork: Collaborating with teachers and other staff members. Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various tasks and unexpected situations. Classroom Management: Helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Basic Literacy and Numeracy: Supporting students in reading, writing, and math.
