This is a brand-new role born out of the growth of the business and will sit within an established team of 4 other Building surveyors within the Bristol office. This role will focus on large projects within the Public Sector space, such as, local authority, schools and social housing, with the majority of projects being located in the South West of England and South Wales. Your new role Key Objectives Running larger, more complex projects with some autonomy Takes control of own workload and planning Working with and managing more junior staff on project and survey commissions Delivery of projects and reports to agreed time and quality Principal responsibilities and accountabilities Runs large and/or complex projects - monitors progress and expenditure Plans and manages project resources Assistance with bid process and business development activities Prepares and oversees designs and reports Undertakes surveys in accordance with the firm's procedures Represents the firm at client meetings, presentations etc. Monitors day-to-day programming and planning Assists with planning and managing project resources, including technical development of junior staff.
