Teaching Assistant Pay: £105-£115 per day (dependent on experience) Contract: Part-time Location: Torquay, Borough of Torbay Our client, a well-regarded educational institution in Torquay, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed both academically and socially. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide high-quality support that enhances the learning experience for all students. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons and learning materials Providing targeted 1:1 or small-group support to pupils who require additional assistance Supporting pupils during class activities, breaktimes, and extracurricular sessions Helping maintain a safe, positive, and well-organised classroom environment Working collaboratively with teachers to meet students' individual learning needs Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress Supporting administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance, and resource organisation What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to pupil development.
