Supporting not only academic growth but also emotional resilience and confidence. Keeping accurate session records and progress notes. Incorporating a variety of learning tools and resources to enhance engagement. Requirements: Qualified or experienced Outreach Tutors/Teachers with a strong grasp of Maths and Literacy. Proven experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND, SEMH, or non-traditional learning needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, resilience, and a genuine commitment to student success. Flexibility and initiative in adapting to different environments and student needs. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - support provided). The right to work in the UK. Working in pupils' homes, local libraries, or schools, you'll have the opportunity to help students build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve meaningful educational outcomes in core subjects such as English, Maths, PSHE, as well as through interventions and mentoring. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, one-to-one sessions for students ranging from EYFS to Year 11 (up to GCSE/Functional Skills level). Building positive, trusting relationships with students and families. Adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and styles. Supporting not only academic growth but also emotional resilience and confidence. Keeping accurate session records and progress notes. Incorporating a variety of learning tools and resources to enhance engagement. Requirements: Qualified or experienced Tutors/Teachers with a strong grasp of Maths and Literacy. Proven experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND, SEMH, or non-traditional learning needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, resilience, and a genuine commitment to student success. Flexibility and initiative in adapting to different environments and student needs. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply-support provided). The right to work in the UK.
