Java Developer - Front Office Risk Technology London | Hybrid | £60,000-£90,000 We're partnering with a leading boutique investment bank to hire a Java Developer (2-6 years' experience) into their Front Office Risk Technology team. This is an opportunity to work on business-critical applications within a Front Office environment, developing and supporting risk platforms used by key stakeholders across the business. What We're Looking For Strong commercial Java development experience. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices. AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, S3 or similar). Experience within financial services, banking, trading or capital markets. Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and modern software engineering practices. Experience working closely with business stakeholders. Desirable Experience Exposure to Risk Technology, Risk Platforms or Credit Risk applications. Experience within Front Office, Trading, Pricing, Market Data or Capital Markets environments. Production support experience and ownership of live systems. Exposure to AWS cloud-native architectures. The Opportunity You'll be developing and enhancing Java-based applications while working closely with business stakeholders and risk users. The role offers strong exposure to Credit Risk technology, modern cloud engineering practices and Front Office systems within a fast-paced investment banking environment.
