Java Developer - Front Office Risk Technology

We're partnering with a leading boutique investment bank to hire a Java Developer (2-6 years' experience) into their Front Office Risk Technology team.

This is an opportunity to work on business-critical applications within a Front Office environment, developing and supporting risk platforms used by key stakeholders across the business.

• Strong commercial Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, S3 or similar).
• Experience within financial services, banking, trading or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders.

• Exposure to Risk Technology, Risk Platforms or Credit Risk applications.
• Experience within Front Office, Trading, Pricing, Market Data or Capital Markets environments.
• Production support experience and ownership of live systems.
• Exposure to AWS cloud-native architectures.

You'll be developing and enhancing Java-based applications while working closely with business stakeholders and risk users. The role offers strong exposure to Credit Risk technology, modern cloud engineering practices and Front Office systems within a fast-paced investment banking environment.
