Key Responsibilities • Support the Shop Floor Manager in overseeing daily operational activities. • Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes. • Monitor workflow and prioritise workloads to meet customer deadlines. • Carry out final quality checks on orders before dispatch. • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail at all times. • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production or product issues. • Carry out hands-on repairs, adjustments, and product fixes when required. • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and quality. • Support and guide team members to ensure standards are consistently met. • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment. • Communicate operational updates and escalate issues where necessary. Essential Requirements • Previous experience in a senior operative, team leader, supervisory, or similar operational role. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines. • Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in product repairs and problem-solving. • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when required. • Full UK driving licence and access to transport due to the location of the site.
