Cell Test Technician We are supporting an innovative clean technology company that is looking for a Cell Test Technician to join its growing R&D team. This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, and electrochemical testing. Working closely with scientists and electrochemists, you will support the development and validation of next-generation materials through high-quality experimental work and accurate data collection. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrode manufacturing processes, including slurry mixing, coating, and calendaring Assemble coin and pouch cells within controlled laboratory and dry-room environments Execute battery cell testing programmes and support electrochemical investigations Maintain laboratory equipment, test systems, and thermal chambers Accurately record experimental procedures, results, and observations Follow established laboratory procedures and quality standards Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support materials development projects Requirements Experience working within a laboratory, chemical, or scientific environment Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work accurately Experience recording experimental data and maintaining laboratory documentation Ability to manage laboratory activities efficiently and meet deadlines Desirable (Not Essential) Coin cell and pouch cell assembly experience Familiarity with dry-room environments Experience with slurry preparation, coating, or electrode manufacturing processes If you are an experienced laboratory technician or scientific technician looking to develop your career within advanced materials, please apply now.
