The Role As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the dispensing process and ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with SOPs, GPhC standards, and legal requirements. Label, assemble, and prepare medicines for final accuracy checks by the pharmacist. Maintain accurate prescription records, patient information, and dispensing data. Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and support effective stock control procedures. Respond to patient enquiries via telephone, email, and online messaging in a professional and empathetic manner. Assist with prescription processing, order tracking, and dispatch coordination within an online pharmacy setting. Ensure patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
