Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces. Paint Sprayer Bodyshop Paint Sprayer Duties of a paint sprayer Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints and colours to achieve desired shades and textures. Use hand tools and power tools to facilitate surface preparation and finishing tasks. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project. Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as necessary to support project requirements. Requirements of a paint sprayer Proven experience in painting or decorating roles is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues. Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and sanders. Experience with power tools including spray guns, drills, and grinders. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to work tasks. Good physical fitness with the ability to work in various weather conditions if required.
