THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION, FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEW! THE ROLE: To support the manufacturing process in order to meet production demands of the business. Working across a number of lines to carry out (two or more) defined machine operation and monitoring of production process as required / determined by the Shift Operational Lead. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB ROLE: Work as part of crewing on production lines. Defined machine operation, packing, palletising, lid loading, material replenishment of running materials (reel operation). Ensure required materials are ordered inline with production requirements. Carrying out process confirmation checks in line with quality, safety and product specifications. Clean and inspect all work areas and machinery, within acceptable safe working standards and good manufacturing practices, ensuring lines are set to standards. Read and interpret specifications to meet the production plans ensuring appropriate prioritisation. Completion of line records to include material traceability, yield & usage. Role model behaviour in line with the company values, challenging and / or escalating to the appropriate supervisor any behaviour that does not fall within these values. Ensure full adherence to Company Health and Safety Procedures and Practices. Identify and report any conduct that breaches Health & Safety or does not fall within our company values, including all incidents and near misses. Conducts line safety checks in line with company procedures. Compliance with the Company's Quality/GMP Standards, ensure appropriate work wear is worn. Ensure effective communication with all key stakeholders, including (but not exclusive to), Packers, Line Operators and Advanced Operators (TBC), escalating issues immediately to appropriate Supervisor. BENEFITS PACKAGE: Bonus is up to 5% of salary, depending on companies performance. Pension - Employee contribution 5%, Company contribution 5% (This increases to 7% in 4th year of employment and 9% in the 5th year) 31 days holidays, inclusive with Bank Holidays.
