Internal Sales Coordinator Location: Tamworth Salary: £31,000 + Excellent Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday 9- 5pm Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator to join their friendly team in Tamworth. This is a varied role combining new business, account management and sales administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships. The Role As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the sales process while identifying opportunities to maximise sales and strengthen client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to delivery. Respond to inbound sales enquiries, preparing quotations and following up opportunities. Proactively contact existing customers to identify additional sales opportunities and generate repeat business. Liaise with customers regarding orders, delivery schedules and product availability. Work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the CRM system. Provide exceptional customer service, resolving queries promptly and professionally. Support the external sales team with quotations, account management and administration. Help achieve team sales targets by delivering outstanding customer support and identifying opportunities for account growth. The successful candidate will have: Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support or Customer Account Management role. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience processing customer orders and quotations. A proactive and commercial approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Design Engineer £40,000 Basic Salary Lichfield Experience & Qualifications Our client is looking for someone with demonstrable experience in a design engineering or product development role. While a degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design or a related discipline is preferred, relevant hands-on experience may be considered. Preferred (not required): Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Industrial Design or a related engineering discipline Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling is essential (SolidWorks preferred) Experience taking products from concept through to manufacture Experience of working to BS/ISO or equivalent industry standards desirable but not essential Purpose of Role The role is responsible for providing technical services, design, drawing and modelling product range. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings to appropriate requirements and standards, carry out analysis of existing designs, and evolve products in line with business priorities. You will also visit and support suppliers, aiding the introduction and ongoing manufacture of products, and working with international colleagues and suppliers where required. Key Responsibilities Design & Technical Provide technical services in line with the technical handbook and agreed design protocols, including: Conducting competitor analysis and understanding product service conditions Developing new designs and evolving existing ones based on analysis and field knowledge Using industry-standard tools: solid 3D modelling, rendering, 2D engineering drawings, FEA analysis and standard Microsoft Office tools Carrying out design checking when requested Developing quality requirements and process improvements Supporting the wider Technical team in articulating product benefits Providing abstracts for trade literature, website and tender documentation Maintaining a well-structured and accessible library of product data as a shared business resource Arrange and coordinate design reviews with the Engineering Manager and wider team as required Manage assigned projects, including supporting product introductions and approving first-off samples before handover to the operations team Supplier & Foundry Visit suppliers and foundries as required to resolve design or manufacturability issues during product introduction or production Assist local engineers with the design of patterns, core boxes and moulds Report design-related problems identified during supplier visits, with suggested solutions Communication & Collaboration Work to deadlines set by the Engineering Manager; communicate proactively if delivery is at risk Communicate fully, clearly and promptly on: Any queries relating to requested work The status of projects Changing situations or factors affecting suppliers Produce project status reports as required to inform financial, sales and operational planning With reasonable notice and in line with the company handbook, be available outside office hours to communicate with international colleagues in other time zones Take and make opportunities to collaborate, network and strengthen relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers and industry partners Provide technical presentations and participate in customer design reviews when required All meetings to have agendas and action points set Engage with all company communication platforms (e.g. SharePoint) General Observe Products company and Health & Safety handbooks at all times Work diligently and use time effectively, in line with priorities Proactively suggest improvements and developments to products, services and processes; use initiative to identify future opportunities and carry out preliminary feasibility investigations Mentor and support more junior members of the team as required Undertake duties other than those specifically listed where reasonably required
