Internal Sales Coordinator

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £31,000 + Excellent Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 9- 5pm

Our client is a well-established and growing business seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator to join their friendly team in Tamworth. This is a varied role combining new business, account management and sales administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships.

The Role

As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the sales process while identifying opportunities to maximise sales and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries, preparing quotations and following up opportunities.
  • Proactively contact existing customers to identify additional sales opportunities and generate repeat business.
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders, delivery schedules and product availability.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using the CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support the external sales team with quotations, account management and administration.
  • Help achieve team sales targets by delivering outstanding customer support and identifying opportunities for account growth.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Coordinator, Sales Support or Customer Account Management role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience processing customer orders and quotations.
  • A proactive and commercial approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
