Salary: 31,650 - 45,350 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Contract: approx. 12 months
We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in South Manchester who are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team. This role is a maternity cover, starting on Monday 3rd November and lasting for approximately 12 months.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive during this vital stage of their learning journey.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
Supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
Contributing to the wider life of the school and its community
