Stephen James Consulting is recruiting for a Home Manager, based in East Sussex.

This small residential care home provides high-quality, person-centred care for older adults in a supportive and welcoming environment. The home has a strong reputation for its warm atmosphere and dedicated staff team.

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager with proven leadership skills, who can maintain and build on the home s quality, ensuring residents, their families, and staff continue to feel valued and supported.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised care.

  • Managing and developing staff teams, promoting a positive culture, and providing professional development.

  • Upholding the home s standards in line with CQC, Local Authority, and organisational requirements.

  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and local community stakeholders.

  • Managing resources effectively to ensure the home remains compliant, efficient, and financially sustainable.

To be considered for this role of Home Manager, you will need the following experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Home Manager in a residential care home setting.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.

  • A proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage staff teams.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to delivering person-centred care.

This provider offers a competitive salary of £48,000.
