Powder Coater / Wet Sprayer

An established manufacturing company based in Stirchley, Birmingham requires a powder coater / wet sprayer.

Duties:

• Carry out powder coating and wet spraying of metal components to high standards.
• Prepare surfaces (cleaning, masking, shotblasting, and priming) prior to coating.
• Mix and apply coatings accurately in accordance with specifications.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment, booths, and curing ovens.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure coating thickness, adhesion, and finish meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in powder coating and wet spraying.
• Strong understanding of coating preparation, application, and curing processes.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications.
• Good eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Experience with ceramic coatings is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).

Hours:

• 37 hrs (Mon-Thurs 7am to 4.45pm)

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
