Job Summary

Forres Golf Club is seeking reliable, skilled, and enthusiastic Part Time Cooks to join our kitchen team. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for members and guests in our clubhouse and catering for occasional special events. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast paced kitchen, maintains a clean and organised workspace, and takes pride in delivering consistent, well prepared food.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with club standards and recipes
Assist in daily food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and organising ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas
Ensure food is stored and handled properly following safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Support special events and golf tournaments with appropriate food service
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to the supervisor
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

Minimum 2 year of experience in a professional kitchen (club or hospitality setting preferred)
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain)
Ability to occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and adapt as needed
