We are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor to join their team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of key civil engineering projects, with a competitive salary and long-term career progression on offer.
The Role:
Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.
Oversee subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial teams to deliver schemes effectively.
Drive health & safety standards on site, carrying out inspections and ensuring compliance.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, clients, and the supply chain.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering (groundworks, drainage, roads, or utilities).
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential).
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high standards under pressure.
Package:
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
