  • Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining supporting schedules
  • Month-end variance analysis

  • Weekly payroll and agency hour reconciliations and reporting
  • Sales reconciliation and scrap valuation
  • VAT reporting
  • Supporting the wider finance function with ad-hoc projects and tasks
  • Occasional general admin support (calls, visitor sign-in, document handling)
What we're looking for
We're seeking a proactive and results-driven individual with a positive 'can-do' attitude, who can work both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Qualifications: Minimum AAT qualified or CIMA part-qualified with relevant industry experience (SME/manufacturing exposure highly advantageous)
  • Technical skills: Strong Excel knowledge including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc.

  • Communication: Confident communicator, with strong written and verbal English - essential for documentation and stakeholder engagement
  • Personal attributes: Trustworthy, professional, and collaborative with a drive to continuously improve processes
What you need to know
  • You'll be joining a supportive team environment with opportunities to add real value to the business
  • Confidentiality, reliability and initiative are critical to your success in this role
  • Occasional travel is required
