The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be the named person with responsibility under RQIA registration, leading our team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care. You'll oversee all operational, clinical, and compliance aspects of the service, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to a skilled multidisciplinary team
- Ensure the service complies with all RQIA regulations, quality standards, and legislative requirements
- Oversee the delivery of personalised care and robust care planning
- Safeguard the welfare and rights of residents/patients
- Manage , staffing, recruitment, and audits
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Candidate Interviews /Complaints Management
- Candidate Competency and Skill Assessments
- Candidate Approval (once all competencies and assessments have been completed)
- Candidate Inductions
- Liaison with RQIA
- Liaison and relationship building with HSCNI Trusts
- Annual Appraisals / Monthly supervision
- Policy Management (& Updates in line with Trust and RQIA requirements)
- Random Audits of nurse's hours worked
- Audit attendance with RQIA
