A council in Norfolk is on the lookout for a Housing Options Officer to join their busy team on an interim basis. You'll be on the frontline, working directly with residents who are at risk of homelessness and helping them access the support they need.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Giving clear, practical housing advice to residents from all backgrounds

• Assessing applications in line with the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017

• Writing and issuing Section 184 decisions on time

• Handling a varied caseload, including more complex cases

• Splitting your time between home and the office with hybrid working
