Warehouse Operative
Enfield - easily commutable from Barnet, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Potters Bar, Hertford, Harlow, Waltham Abbey, Hoddesdon, Edmonton and surrounding areas
28,000 starting salary - rising to 29,000 after successful 3-month probation + hourly rate + benefits
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their small, long-standing warehouse team in a varied and rewarding role. This position offers genuine ownership of the samples process, as well as involvement in broader warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the samples process and maintain a tidy, organised workspace
- Daily use of a PC to log into portals, process orders and export data (training provided)
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Support with ad hoc deliveries when required (valid driving licence essential)
- Undertake forklift training and gain licence after probation (funded by the company)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting other areas of the warehouse as necessary
Hours:
- 42 hours per week, Monday-Friday, rota between 6am-6pm
- Alternate Saturday shifts (6am-2pm) as required
- Additional overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
